Senior IT Security Engineer

Job Summary

Senior IT Security Engineer is a full-time, hands-on role focused on secure systems engineering and cybersecurity governance, responsible for managing macOS devices, SaaS platforms, and cloud infrastructure while ensuring compliance with relevant security frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and secure the macOS device fleet and SaaS platforms, ensuring operational efficiency and security
• Monitor security alerts and manage endpoint security tooling, responding to incidents and vulnerabilities
• Support compliance with NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC Level 2 by maintaining security policies and conducting audits

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in IT systems engineering or security engineering
• Practical experience with cybersecurity compliance frameworks, particularly NIST 800-171 and/or CMMC
• Strong hands-on experience using Jamf for managing macOS environments
• Experience administering various SaaS platforms and managing Linux-based systems in cloud environments
• Working knowledge of scripting or automation tools such as Bash or Python
