Senior IT Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing fintech platform, the full-time Senior IT Security Engineer will monitor and respond to security incidents, manage vulnerability efforts, and maintain corporate IT systems in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, triage, and respond to security alerts and incidents across various security tools
• Support vulnerability management efforts, including scanning, prioritization, and remediation tracking
• Create and maintain processes to improve system efficiency and reduce manual intervention

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in IT operations and information security, with hands-on exposure to cloud environments
• Experience with platform management (Mac, Linux) and workstation management tools
• Extensive experience with Google Workspace and Mobile Device Management
• Knowledge of information security fundamentals, including device encryption and security policies
