Senior IT Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support the operational backbone of the security team, the remote Senior IT Security Operations Engineer will manage day-to-day operational support, policy tuning, and platform health monitoring for Zscaler's security services, including ZIA, ZPA, and Cloud Security.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational support and configuration for Zscaler Internet Access, Zscaler Private Access, and Cloud Security platforms
• Configure and maintain zero trust policies related to user-to-application access and security posture management
• Utilize monitoring tools to identify application and user experience issues, collaborating on remediation efforts

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT security operations, network security, or a related technical domain
• Hands-on experience administering Zscaler ZIA and/or ZPA security platforms
• Working knowledge of zero trust concepts and cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Practical understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and networking concepts
• U.S. Citizenship required due to specific customer security requirements
