Senior IT Software Developer
Job Summary
To design, build, test, and maintain scalable applications and data solutions, the contract-to-hire Senior IT Software Developer will leverage modern cloud data platforms and tools, focusing on ETL/ELT processes in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, test, and debug software and data integration solutions in both traditional and cloud-based environments
- Prepare detailed specifications and formulate system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding
- Document ETL designs, data mappings, and architecture while ensuring data integrity and governance
Required qualifications
- Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
- Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture and data ingestion tools such as Fivetran and HVR
- Understanding of batch and near real-time data integration patterns
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Azure DevOps in data engineering workflows
- Bachelor's degree preferred
