Senior IT SOX Auditor

Job Summary

Supporting critical IT compliance and internal control testing activities, the contract Senior IT SOX Auditor will lead the planning and execution of IT General Controls (ITGC) and SOX compliance testing while working fully remote during Pacific Time Zone hours.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and reporting of ITGC and SOX compliance testing activities
• Perform control testing procedures and assess the effectiveness of IT controls while identifying deficiencies
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate control execution and prepare comprehensive audit documentation

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience in ITGC testing within a SOX-regulated environment
• Strong knowledge of SOX compliance requirements and IT auditing principles
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple audit activities independently
• Experience in evaluating control design and documenting audit conclusions
• Professional certification such as CISA is preferred
