Senior IT System Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior IT Enterprise System Engineer will design, develop, integrate, and optimize enterprise applications and databases to enhance the Digital Mortgage ecosystem while collaborating with business leaders and technology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze complex business requirements and develop functional technical specifications, writing clean, scalable code using MS SQL and .NET C#
• Perform data forensics to reverse engineer systems, locate defects, and understand data lineage, while managing data integration processes with advanced SQL
• Provide tier-3 application support, troubleshoot issues across various layers, and maintain documentation for system manuals and deployment logs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of advanced experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including complex queries, performance tuning, and backend database processing
• 3-5 years of core experience with the Microsoft stack, specifically .NET Framework/.NET Core, and familiarity with CI/CD deployment pipelines
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with JSON, XML, JavaScript, and RESTful API integrations
• 3-5 years of experience using a scripting language for task automation, with a preference for PowerShell
