Senior IT Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a strategic Senior IT Systems Engineer, the full-time remote position will focus on designing, building, and maintaining scalable IT systems while mentoring junior engineers and driving improvements across technology platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement secure and reliable solutions within multiple IT systems such as Jamf, Intune, and Google Workspace
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex multi-system issues and perform root cause analysis to implement long-term fixes
• Take ownership of key project lifecycles from design and planning through deployment and post-launch support

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in architecting, deploying, and managing core IT platforms, particularly Okta, Jira, and Jamf
• Hands-on experience with automation and integrations using scripting languages like Python and PowerShell
• Deep knowledge of modern IAM principles and experience managing a hybrid fleet of macOS endpoints
• Proven ability to implement and manage security controls and platforms with a security-first approach
• Experience in evaluating and recommending emerging technologies to architect scalable systems
