Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior IT Systems Engineer will design and deliver complex automations and integrations for core systems, focusing on transforming manual processes into reliable automations while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement business-critical automations and integrations, including AI-powered workflows
- Document and recommend technical approaches for ambiguous requirements, addressing root causes of integration issues
- Guide technical principles for integrations and monitor production automations, leading incident response efforts
Required qualifications
- 7+ years in automation, integration, or IT systems engineering with a focus on business-critical automations
- Deep experience with Workato or similar iPaaS platforms, including API integrations and error handling
- Proficiency in a scripting language such as Python
- Experience designing reusable patterns for engineering teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
