Job Summary
Leading a team of professionals, the full-time Senior ITS/TSMO Manager will oversee Intelligent Transportation Systems and traffic engineering projects, ensuring compliance with standards while managing budgets, schedules, and client relationships in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Directs traffic studies, impact assessments, and technical deliverables, ensuring quality and adherence to project criteria
- Manages staffing, budgets, and schedules across concurrent ITS/TSMO and traffic engineering projects
- Serves as the senior technical authority for traffic engineering design, signal timing, and TSMO strategy development
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; PE license preferred
- 15+ years of progressive experience in traffic engineering, transportation planning, and operations
- Expertise in traffic signal design, corridor analysis, and microsimulation modeling
- Strong track record of client management and public agency coordination
- Previous project management experience on large-scope projects
