Job Summary

To contribute to cutting-edge data processing solutions, the full-time Senior Java Backend Developer will design and develop distributed data processing components in Java while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop distributed data processing components with a focus on throughput, reliability, and correctness
• Build and maintain stream and batch processing pipelines for large-scale data workloads in production
• Collaborate with platform and data engineering teams to deliver scalable, well-tested solutions and investigate performance bottlenecks

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT roles
• 3+ years of experience with Java as a primary programming language
• Hands-on experience with distributed data processing systems
• Solid understanding of JVM performance fundamentals
• Background in stream or batch processing infrastructure
