Senior Java Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior/Staff Java Backend Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using Java
• Make independent technical decisions regarding architecture and implementation
• Own the entire feature development lifecycle from requirements analysis to deployment

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional Java development experience
• Expert knowledge of Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data)
• Proficiency with relational databases (MySQL) and query optimization
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of security best practices and authentication/authorization patterns
