Job Summary
To support a growing technology team, the full-time Senior Java Backend Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java and microservices architecture in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices, ensuring adherence to coding standards
- Implement event-driven applications with Apache Kafka, focusing on message processing and performance tuning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and resolve complex production issues
Required qualifications:
- Strong hands-on development experience in Java 11/17/21, J2EE, and microservices architecture
- Proven expertise in Apache Kafka for event-driven architectures and distributed system integration
- Advanced knowledge of Hibernate/JPA and SQL, including performance tuning and database design
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for managing containerized applications
