Senior Java Developer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Java Developer to work remotely, who will lead enterprise transformation projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance legacy business communications and data reporting systems.

Key responsibilities

• Transform legacy systems by implementing agentic AI processes and cloud telephony solutions
• Support existing systems to ensure optimal performance during transition periods
• Engage in Extreme Programming practices, including pair programming and Test Driven Development (TDD)

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development with production systems
• Expertise in Java 17/21, Spring Boot 3.x, and REST API design
• Advanced knowledge of AWS services, including Lambda and DynamoDB
• Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Extreme Programming (XP)
• Proficiency in unit and integration testing using JUnit 5 and Mockito
