Senior Java Developer

Job Summary

To support a dynamic agile team, the full-time Senior Java Developer will design and implement scalable multi-threaded solutions, optimize performance, and refactor legacy code while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the product owner to define technical and experience design for new features in the DemandCenter product
• Code, test, and optimize designs across systems and micro-services, ensuring high performance and supportability
• Manage Java services on the AWS framework and troubleshoot product issues in collaboration with customer support

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering focused on building highly scalable systems
• Advanced knowledge of Java development with 8+ years of experience using Spring and Spring Boot frameworks
• Extensive experience with AWS framework and running Java services on AWS
• Solid understanding of APIs using standards like REST, JSON, or XML
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL (Cassandra) database design and optimization
