Senior Java Developer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Java Developer to work on a large business application suite at a cabinet-level agency.
Key Responsibilities
- Coding Java in an O&M setting and taking ownership of multiple applications
- Leading other developer/technical staff and collaborating with database developers on enhancements and bug fixes
- Participating in Agile (Scrum) rituals and maintaining contract SDLC documents while ensuring adherence to quality standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- 5+ years of technical experience
- U.S. citizenship or a Green card; successful candidates must pass a Public Trust background investigation
- Extensive Java (1.8) development experience and experience with Spring, Struts, and Oracle databases
- Agile experience (Scrum) and software release management experience
