Senior Java Developer

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Develop innovative solutions to optimize core business processes and modernize legacy capabilities
• Contribute to mission-critical USPS business functions in a fast-paced Agile environment
• Design and deploy containerized microservices and support Java web and batch applications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred; or an additional four years of relevant experience without a degree
• 7 years of professional experience in Java development, including 3 years in full stack development
• Advanced proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, and RESTful API design
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git
• Strong understanding of event-driven architectures and modern web technologies
