Senior Java Developer

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Java Developer to work remotely, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom software solutions while collaborating closely with product teams and stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement software and database applications for legacy and modern systems
• Collaborate with team members to enhance product quality and support sprint planning and testing activities
• Mentor junior developers and provide innovative solutions to complex project-related problems

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of technical experience in software design and development in Windows and Linux environments
• Proficiency in Java 8 and 11, with familiarity in JDBC, Hibernate, and web services
• Strong understanding of Object Oriented Design and Service Oriented Architecture principles
• Experience with SQL or PL/SQL and database design, including relational and NoSQL databases
• B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
