Job Summary

Supporting a management system in a remote capacity, the contract Senior Java Developer will focus on backend service work and migration from PCF to GCP while building microservices for the client's order system.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
  • Facilitate the migration process from PCF to GCP
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance tools and libraries for the management system
Required qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Java development
  • Strong proficiency with Java 21+, Spring 5.2+, and Spring Boot 2.2
  • Experience with Kafka and various databases (Oracle, Cassandra, Elastic Search, Redis)
  • Familiarity with GCP/GKE; AWS experience is acceptable if strong
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
