Senior Java Developer

Job Summary

To support a government contract, the remote Senior Java Developer will design and develop secure web services, contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, and troubleshoot production application issues.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with customer specifications
• Design and develop secure web services for internal and public use, writing efficient and well-commented code
• Troubleshoot production application operational issues and support continuous improvement initiatives

Required qualifications

• Proven hands-on software development experience using Java 11+
• Experience designing and developing secure web applications using JEE8+ (Enterprise Java Beans 3+, CDI)
• BS/BA in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or equivalent, with at least five years of experience
• Experience with the Spring Framework 5+ and Java ORM technologies like JPA2/Hibernate
• Must be a US Citizen to meet contract requirements and able to pass a government-issued background investigation
