Senior Java Developer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Java Developer to work remotely, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade healthcare applications while ensuring performance, security, and compliance across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based web applications running on Apache Tomcat
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and backend services using Jakarta EE technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security, scalability, and HIPAA compliance

Required Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Core Java and Jakarta EE with hands-on experience in Apache Tomcat
• Proficiency in frontend development using Kendo UI and jQuery
• Comfortable knowledge of T-SQL and relational databases, including experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs, including familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger
• Skilled with JetBrains IntelliJ development IDE and experience using AI-assisted development tools
