Senior Java Developer

Job Summary

To modernize and expand core healthcare applications, the full-time remote Senior Java Developer will design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based web applications, build RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while ensuring compliance and performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based web applications running on Apache Tomcat
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and backend services using Jakarta EE technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and DevOps to ensure security and compliance

Required qualifications

• Strong expertise in Core Java and Jakarta EE, including experience with Apache Tomcat
• Proficiency in frontend development using Kendo UI and jQuery
• Experience with database management and T-SQL, including writing and optimizing stored procedures
• Strong experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and practices
