Job Summary
To support the modernization of healthcare applications, the full-time remote Senior Java Developer will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java-based web applications, focusing on backend services and dynamic user interfaces while ensuring performance, security, and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based web applications running on Apache Tomcat
- Build and enhance RESTful APIs and backend services using Jakarta EE technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security, scalability, and HIPAA compliance across all components
Required qualifications
- Strong expertise in Core Java and Jakarta EE, with hands-on experience in Apache Tomcat
- Extensive experience with Kendo UI and jQuery for frontend development
- Proficient in database management, particularly T-SQL and relational databases
- Strong experience in designing and maintaining RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools, specifically JetBrains IntelliJ
