Senior Java Developer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Java Developer will design, develop, and maintain backend microservices that support order processing and inventory visibility while contributing to cloud-native service development and platform modernization initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices for order processing and fulfillment operations
- Build new cloud-native services and migrate existing applications from legacy platforms to modern cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and resilient business-critical solutions
Required qualifications
- 3-5+ years of professional experience in software development
- 2+ years of experience building Java-based microservices with Spring Boot
- Experience with automated testing (TDD/Unit testing) and familiarity with GCP preferred
- Some knowledge of NoSQL databases
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and build independently
