Senior Java Developer
Job Summary
Hands-on and experienced, the remote Senior Java Developer will design, build, and configure applications, provide technical guidance, and participate in all phases of the software delivery lifecycle while working with multiple business teams.
Key responsibilities
- Develop system architectures, designs, and concepts to meet business requirements
- Provide work estimates and technical mentorship to the development team
- Participate in the entire software delivery lifecycle from analysis through support
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of core Java server back-end development experience
- Proficiency with Java Development Kit (JDK 11 or 17) and the Spring Framework
- Experience in messaging technologies such as Kafka or Active MQ
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Git
