Job Summary
To support a growing team, the part-time Senior Java Developer with Public Trust will design and develop web applications using Java (Spring Boot), build and maintain backend services, and integrate with AWS services while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop web applications and backend services for profile management, SSN lookup, and data validation
- Integrate applications with AWS services and external authentication systems, ensuring security and compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of Java development experience
- Strong expertise in Spring Boot and REST API development
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-native development
- Strong understanding of application security and authentication mechanisms
