Senior Java Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the fully remote Senior Java Engineer will design and develop business-critical software solutions while collaborating with product teams and mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement software solutions that align with the broader engineering strategy
• Collaborate with team members to solve technical challenges and contribute to product planning
• Coach junior engineers and participate in recruitment efforts to build a strong technical team

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering environments with a strong understanding of SDLC practices
• Expertise in debugging code and analyzing complex log files for troubleshooting
• Proficient in querying databases for complex data operations
• Experience with version control practices and systems design concepts for security and stability
