Senior Java Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Java Engineer will engage in hands-on development of greenfield projects, focusing on the design, development, deployment, and testing of new services and distributed systems within a brokerage environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform hands-on coding and develop distributed applications in a cloud-native environment
• Own work from concept through production, ensuring end-to-end ownership
• Collaborate with team members to modernize and extend platform capabilities while engaging in the full development lifecycle

Required qualifications

• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
• Experience with AWS and Kafka
• Familiarity with EKS (Kubernetes) and Docker
• Strong background in developing cloud-native solutions
• Experience with distributed systems is preferred
