Job Summary

Contributing to impactful projects in a remote environment, the full-time salaried Senior Java Engineer will focus on enhancing the core infrastructure of Elasticsearch by designing new features, improving observability, and automating development workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Contributing to large-scale projects that evolve Elasticsearch's core infrastructure
• Identifying automation opportunities to increase developer productivity and integrating applications into workflows
• Designing and implementing scalable features and APIs while resolving performance and stability issues

Required qualifications

• Strong experience in core Java and familiarity with concurrency and parallelism
• Proficiency in crafting APIs and understanding trade-offs in design
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems and practices
• Experience leading large-scale projects across engineering teams
• Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and manage projects from inception to completion
