Senior Java Engineer
Job Summary
Leading an agile engineering team, the remote Senior Java Engineer will design, develop, and deliver scalable Java applications while mentoring developers and driving technical excellence in software solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers in best practices
- Design and develop cloud-native, distributed, and event-driven Java applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance software quality and system performance
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- Expert-level Java development experience, preferably with Java 17/21
- Strong experience with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs
- Experience building distributed, event-driven applications using messaging technologies
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
