Job Summary
Leading the design and development of scalable Java-based microservices, the full-time Senior Java Engineer will execute migrations from legacy applications and ensure seamless API integration in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute migration from legacy monolithic applications to modern, scalable Java-based microservices
- Lead API design and development, including specifications, endpoints, and data models
- Deploy and operate workloads on Kubernetes in AWS while optimizing database performance
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in building scalable modern Java services
- Proven experience in breaking down complex legacy systems into independent services
- Deep knowledge of modern Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and REST API development
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and secure development practices
