Senior Java Integration Engineer

Job Summary

To support distributed application integration with a core banking platform, the contract Sr. Java Integration Engineer will work remotely to design and enhance secure, scalable Java-based solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize high-quality Java-based applications and integration solutions
• Build and support APIs, microservices, and web services using REST and SOAP
• Translate business and platform requirements into technical specifications and reliable software solutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent education, training, or experience
• 5-7 years of experience in application or software development
• Advanced proficiency in Java, XML, OpenAPI, Maven, and ANT
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, Agile practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based version control systems
• Experience developing web services, microservices, and APIs using REST and SOAP
