Senior Java Microservices Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing technology team, the contract Senior Java Microservices Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using Java and Spring Boot while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices-based applications using Java and Spring Boot
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and enterprise services using MuleSoft and modern API design practices
- Build reliable service-to-service integrations and communications within containerized environments
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
- Proven experience designing and developing REST APIs and enterprise integrations
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Azure Container Apps (ACA)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
