Senior Java Spring Boot Engineer

Job Summary

To architect and design digital products, the fully remote Senior Java Spring Boot Engineer will manage the implementation, testing, and documentation of software while ensuring the success of applications through KPI achievement.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in inception and iteration planning meetings, providing technical input alongside product managers
• Lead daily standups and retrospectives, fostering a culture of feedback and collaboration
• Establish continuous integration and deployment pipelines while supporting software products in user environments

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly with Java Spring Boot and REST APIs
• Hands-on experience in architecting and delivering large-scale distributed systems or cloud applications
• Knowledge of web and API security protocols, including OAuth and OWASP
• Experience with database technologies such as MongoDB and messaging systems like Kafka
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and test-driven development practices
