Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior JavaScript Engineer for a remote, worldwide freelance/contract position.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, architect, and build React projects with modern JavaScript
Estimate JavaScript work and modularize goals into clearly defined, executable tasks
Provide code reviews and connect engineering deliverables to client business objectives

Required Qualifications:

Experience building scalable web-based JavaScript applications with ES6+, React, and Node
Familiarity with the architectural concepts behind React, including state and data management, JSX, and JavaScript tooling
Knowledge of WordPress as a platform, including custom post types, taxonomies, and use beyond typical blog use cases
A code portfolio of real-world samples showcasing custom work on GitHub
Preference for remote work and ability to effectively engage in a distributed team
