Senior JavaScript Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior JavaScript Engineer to join their team full-time in Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Develop and maintain robust backend solutions using JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js & Next.js) and design RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Utilize AWS services and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment and infrastructure management

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience with extensive knowledge of backend technologies
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and Next.js
• Experience with API design using GraphQL and REST
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, particularly GitLab CI/CD, and experience with Kubernetes and Terraform
