Job Summary
As a full-time remote opportunity, the Senior Jurisdiction Engineer will conduct jurisdiction and classification assessments for hardware, technical information, and software/firmware related to company exports and imports, ensuring compliance with U.S. government regulations.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive technical assessments related to export or import controls to ensure compliance with government regulations
- Manage small projects and act as a point of contact for Strategic Business Units regarding export classifications
- Provide guidance on U.S. Export Controls and support the Global Trade organization by addressing inquiries from U.S. government agencies
Required qualifications:
- A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and at least 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience performing U.S. export commodity jurisdiction and classification assessments with the U.S. Munitions List (USML) and Commerce Control List (CCL)
- Familiarity with JCA Tools (e.g., OCR, xClass) and/or CommonPDM (cPDM) / Windchill or similar industry tools
