Senior Kotlin Software Engineer
Job Summary
Leading a small team of engineers, the full-time Senior Kotlin Software Engineer will manage the design, development, and deployment of cloud-based microservices, working remotely within the EST and CST time zones.
Key responsibilities
- Guide the design, development, testing, and support of complex cross-functional initiatives
- Produce architectural proposals and participate in technical design discussions
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate work across multiple services and teams
Required qualifications
- Approximately seven to ten years of software engineering experience with senior-level or technical-lead responsibilities
- Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin, Java, or another JVM-based language
- Experience leading a small team or coordinating technical delivery of projects
- Proficiency in designing, building, and operating microservices
- Experience with Kafka and relational databases, particularly Postgres
