Job Summary
Providing expert advisory services to management and HR partners, the full-time Senior Labor Relations Specialist will focus on collective bargaining, contract administration, and grievance resolution while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Offer strategic labor relations consultation and guidance on bargaining obligations and contract interpretation
- Build and maintain effective relationships with labor organizations and facilitate labor management communication
- Administer grievance procedures and prepare for arbitration, including coaching management on responses and case preparation
Required qualifications
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in labor relations advisory services, including grievances and collective bargaining
- Proven track record of representing management in negotiations and dispute resolution
- Expertise in interpreting and applying federal labor relation laws and regulations
- Experience in drafting legal documents and managing third-party proceedings
- Strong background in training supervisors/managers on labor relations topics and effective union interactions
