Senior Landfill Engineer - CA PE Required

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Landfill Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing landfill gas collection and treatment systems, extraction well installations, and health risk evaluations
• Managing regulatory compliance for solid waste clients
• Reviewing and certifying Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) plans

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in the landfill/solid waste industry
• California Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Bachelor's degree in urban planning, environmental science, or related field
• Knowledge of current environmental and city/state development regulations
• Master's degree preferred but not required
