Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Landfill Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing landfill gas collection and treatment systems, extraction well installations, and health risk evaluations
- Managing regulatory compliance for solid waste clients
- Reviewing and certifying Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) plans
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in the landfill/solid waste industry
- California Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Bachelor's degree in urban planning, environmental science, or related field
- Knowledge of current environmental and city/state development regulations
- Master's degree preferred but not required
