Senior Lead Auditor

Job Summary

Leading complex audits in a fully remote capacity, the Senior Lead Auditor will manage operational, financial, compliance, and vendor audits while presenting findings to leadership and overseeing remediation activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead complex operational, financial, compliance, and vendor audits
• Present audit results to leadership and oversee remediation activities
• Evaluate financial reporting controls, operational processes, and third-party vendor risk

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, CISA, CRMA, or CFE preferred or the ability to obtain certification within a specified timeframe
• 10+ years of progressive experience in internal audit, external audit, risk management, or regulatory compliance
• Comprehensive knowledge of internal auditing standards and applicable insurance regulations
• Strong understanding of governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks
