Senior Lease Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Lease Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze lease contracts, entering and approving leases in the lease management system
• Assist with month-end close processes and ensure timely preparation of lease journal entries
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 5-7 years of experience in corporate accounting, with a preference for lease and fixed assets accounting
• Strong knowledge of ASC842 Lease Accounting preferred
