Job Summary
Senior Leave of Absence Specialist is a full-time remote position responsible for managing complex employee leave cases, ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws, and providing exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage detailed leave of absence cases in the case management system, ensuring compliance and proper policy application
- Provide outstanding customer service and support to employees regarding leave inquiries, handling sensitive situations effectively
- Advise leaders and employees on the interaction of leave laws with various benefits and assist in resolving complex leave issues
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent working knowledge
- Two to four years of experience with leave requirements and applicable laws such as FMLA and ADA
- Basic knowledge of Human Resources functions, including payroll, benefits, and compensation
- Strong analytical skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
