Senior Legal and Licensing Specialist

Job Summary

To ensure compliance and efficient licensing processes, the full-time remote Senior Legal and Licensing Specialist will maintain records, compile information, and coordinate with applicants and state agencies for license applications while supporting the legal department with governance and related matters.

Key responsibilities

• Acts as a resource for colleagues and audits the work of non-senior staff while assisting in training new team members
• Completes licensing and provider enrollment applications and manages all related activities for renewals and updates
• Tracks and gathers metrics on projects, presenting progress updates and action plans during project calls

Required qualifications

• Paralegal certification preferred, along with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry focusing on licensing and enrollment
• Experience working with Medicare and Medicaid, including application processes
• Proficiency in developing solutions independently and managing objectives with minimal supervision
• Experience as a paralegal or legal assistant supporting legal department activities
