Senior Legal Consultant

Job Summary

Providing technical and compliance support, the remote Senior Legal Consultant will manage client relationships, draft plan documents for retirement and employee benefit plans, and conduct meetings with clients and account managers.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and analyze plan documents, amendments, and administrative forms for various retirement plans
• Coordinate client meetings to discuss plan design and provisions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Prepare IRS filings and maintain documentation for plans under audit

Required qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in compliance issues related to employer-sponsored retirement and employee benefit plans
• Preferred college degree in a relevant field
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe products
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to communicate complex information effectively, both orally and in writing
