Senior Legal Consultant

Job Summary

To support a growing legal team, the full-time Senior Legal Consultant will provide employee benefits law support for mergers and acquisitions, assist with participant claims and appeals, and draft necessary legal documents, with the possibility of remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal support for employee benefits related to mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures
• Review and draft benefit plan documents, including compliance filings and participant communications
• Research and analyze ERISA, tax, and state laws affecting employee benefit arrangements

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in paralegal roles
• 3+ years of experience in employee benefits law
• Experience providing legal support for mergers and acquisitions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Copilot and OneNote
• Strong organizational and project management skills
