Senior Legal Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to support its community development lending activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate loan documents and manage legal due diligence
• Support post-closing legal matters and borrower compliance across the loan portfolio
• Assist in the execution of loan participations and coordinate with internal teams for compliance

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing
• Minimum of 6-10 years of legal experience in commercial real estate finance or community development lending
• Demonstrated experience supporting real estate lending transactions through closing
• Strong working knowledge of loan documentation, secured transactions, and multi-party deal structures
• Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment
