Senior Legal Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently review, draft, and negotiate contracts and legal documentation with various parties
• Manage complex projects on behalf of business groups and participate in product ideation phases
• Evaluate legal courses of action and assist with compliance activities

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor Degree from an ABA-accredited law school and a member of at least one state bar
• 8+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, including contract drafting and negotiation
• 5+ years of experience engaging in business development related to contracts
• 5+ years of experience with data rights/license agreements and intellectual property contracts
• Demonstrated experience in corporate matters requiring in-depth evaluation and interpretation
