Senior Legal Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to provide legal support in government contracting.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate US government contracts and related agreements
• Provide legal advice on FAR and DFAR clauses and contractual terms
• Support business development teams with legal guidance during proposal and negotiation stages

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school and current attorney licensure
• Minimum 10 years of experience in federal government contracting with strong knowledge of FAR/DFAR
• Experience in negotiating and drafting customer and vendor agreements, particularly in technology and data licensing
• U.S. Citizenship required to comply with government contracting regulations
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance with the U.S. Government
