Senior Legal Counsel

Job Summary

A financial services platform is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to lead their legal function remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the legal function and provide advice and support on corporate matters
• Manage commercial agreements and stay updated on legal developments
• Identify and manage legal risk, support legal operations and special projects

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant legal experience, with in-house and law firm experience preferred
• J.D. and active membership in at least one state bar required
• Ability to assess legal needs, collaborate cross-functionally, and communicate legal considerations
• Pragmatic approach to problem-solving and strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a start-up atmosphere of constant change and growth
