Senior Legal Counsel - Data Privacy

Job Summary

To support the evolving landscape of data privacy and regulatory compliance, the full-time Senior Legal Counsel - Data Privacy will manage privacy-by-design initiatives, advise cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with international regulations while working remotely or onsite in various European locations.

Key responsibilities

• Advise cross-functional groups on data privacy and regulatory compliance
• Evaluate product features and global data governance for privacy-by-design compliance
• Draft and maintain internal and external data protection agreements and privacy policies

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience as in-house counsel in privacy and data protection within an international tech environment
• Proven track record of implementing EU data protection regulations (GDPR, ePrivacy)
• Completed university-level degree in law
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English
• Ability to draft clear, legally sound privacy policies and regulatory risk assessments
